Bio
Michal Ficek is a PhD student at the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, with aim at cellular network roaming, user-network association data acquisition and user mobility modeling. He became RDC Guru and he leads projects towards the wide area of location based services (LBS), mining of data from mobile networks and user-mobility research. His research topic is "Network mass data acquisition, processing and utilization" on which he works sponsored by a Microsoft Research PhD Scholarship. Michal received the MSc. degree in Computer Science from Faculty of Mathematics and Physics (MFF UK) at Charles University in Prague in programming and computer system architectures.
